Over the last 75 years, we experience a videoconferencing frenzy roughly every 10 years. Despite the billions of dollars of failed investments, industry forecasters often still proclaim that videoconferencing will become an everyday experience within the next few years. What has changed? At VSee Lab, by focusing on the science of visual communication, we take two principles to be self-evident: 1. There is a large class of communication tasks that do not need video, 2. Just pointing a camera at someone does not make it videoconferencing. We invite you to speak with a VSee Lab scientist on the art, science, and myth of seeing through video.
