It currently uses Skype to connect the satellite worker to control the robot, though they are thinking about upgrading to a different video conferencing platform (for a variety of reasons that have been covered in various previous VSee blogs about Skype!).  Mantaro says their goal is to be able to produce sufficiently cost effective robots that they could be used for more than one-off applications.]]></description>
