The new release incorporates the patch.

If you haven't changed any settings from when you initially downloaded, simply exit VSee and then log back in. VSee should update automatically. You can check by selecting "About" in the drop down menu of your video window. The version number should be 10.0.0.517.

If you have turned off the default "Automatically update program", then you can either a) go to your system tray, right click on our icon, and re-select that under "Options", then exit and log back in; or b) uninstall VSee and return to our home page, download the new version, then log back in.

Re: 10.0.0.517 Release (patch for v.421)

I updated my program and it still says it cannot connect to camera. Reinstalled an older version and it recognizes it fine. Is it possbile to get the version before v.421?

Re: 10.0.0.517 Release (patch for v.421)

Hi John, I'm using a Vista Imaging Vicam (an older camera) that worked fine up until release 421 or 517, I can't remember which. Is there any page or ftp site I may go to to download any of the previous releases? Right now I've had to go back to Version 8.0.0.1219. Hopefully there's a version somewhere in between I can use until the problem is fixed. If you need to look at the drivers for this camera, I can upload them to someone somewhere, just let me know. Thanks, Dennis McCord.

Re: 10.0.0.517 Release (patch for v.421)

Hi Dennis,

Please send me more about the environment (OS, CPU, model of computer, etc.) to support@vsee.com., c/o me. I'll forward you a URL for an older version. For reasons of stability and compatibility, I'd like to avoid posting those to the forum.

Thanks,
John
