We're looking for:

Staff Software Developers/Tech Leads:
You will have tremendous responsibility in creating the VSee experience, and be leading critical development work in one of the many VSee modules:

  • Echo cancellation, audio quality improvements, audio device interface/control
  • Flash adaptor, Flash server/streaming integration
  • Network scalability, efficient HTTP/SSL and application-level multicast
  • Directory and relay scalability, redundancy
  • Efficient application sharing amongst 30-100 people, including efficient overlay annotation, application-sharing recording and playback
  • SIP/XMPP/H323 bridges.
You have experience in the particular area you're interested in (there will be more qualifications necessary depending on which one). You have experience delivering production, systems level code. You enjoy working in a flat organization and have a passion and talent for clean, simple software design.
Requirements: BS in Computer Engineering and 4+ years experience building production software (or MS and 2+ years). Excellent C/C++ skills. Experience as a Sr. Software Engineer or Tech Lead/Manager. Other technical/academic/professional requirements depending on which area you're interested in.

Staff QA Engineer
You have a passion for being the Iron Gate beyond which no bugs may pass! and enjoy recommending release schedules. You have experience in creating and executing test plans for applications/client software (preferably multimedia or AV-heavy software), and/or automated build and test scripts, and/or stress tests for server systems.
Requirements: BS in Computer Engineering or related, 2+ years experience in QA engineering. Scripting (Perl, Python) and C/C++ skills. Familiarity with build systems.

Application/Support Engineer
You will be relied upon by VSee partners and third-parties for customization work, SDK development, and technical support. You like helping end-users figure out their technical issues. You have experience developing production code in C/C++ for the Windows platform.
Requirements: BS in Computer Engineering or related, 1+ years experience writing production/systems code. C/C++ skills. Experience in designing/developing SDKs and tools for third-parties.

Blogger
You know your way in the trenches of the blogosphere and have a good track record of creating buzz and publicity. You are reasonably familiar with videoconference technology and systems, and other collaboration tools. You'd love to be a part of a system that would eventually help millions of people to communicate each day!

Director, Sales and Business Development
You have a proven sales track-record in the videoconference or enterprise software or related industries. You are excited about developing marketing and business development strategies, but with a priority on execution of sales-closings. You love interacting with engineers (who doesn't :-p) and influencing product direction.
