As in past years, this year’s annual VSee Asia retreat was a blast!
Each year we choose an exotic location to take our whole company + their families. Planning has been getting trickier as our team grows, but every year we manage to have tons of fun as well as to reconnect with each other on a personal and professional level.
This year, we went to Taiwan – a sub-tropical island off the coast of China. It’s especially well known for its night markets and “little eats.” It also sports some of the most beautiful beaches and amazing coastline scenery.
During our 7 days get together we reviewed our company and team OKRs [link to explanation], and planned new business strategies, held an internal hackathon, and brainstormed ways make VSee the best loved product on the telehealth market.
Of course it wasn’t all work and no play 🙂 We left plenty of time to hit the bustling Taipei City night markets and to gorge ourselves on the ubiquitous hotpot buffets beckoning around every street corner.
For families and nature-lovers, there were lots of hiking and beach lounging opportunities. And the more adventuresome enjoyed exploring the South China Sea by kayak and jumping-off-a-cliff paragliding.
All in all, this has been a wonderful getaway to mingle with everyone and their family. Can’t wait to see everyone again at next year’s retreat!
