CareConnect Health, one of the largest primary health care providers in state of Georgia, providing comprehensive health services in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics-Gynecology, Infectious Diseases, Dentistry, and Behavioral Health is expanding its innovative in-school Virtual Care program to offer telehealth visits for teachers and students all over Georgia.

Pre-pandemic, CareConnect Health was already utilizing VSee to

  • virtually provide behavioral health counseling sessions to students located at any of their six in-school based clinics, and
  • to provide urgent care and behavioral health video visits through its InstaVisit App to patients located anywhere in Georgia.

This new school telehealth initiative will open up primary, pediatric, and behavioral health care services to teachers, staff, and students located in Georgia. It especially aims to service Medicaid and uninsured students and offer greater convenience to school employees.

CareConnect Health will also soon be launching its Chronic Care 360 app to offer an integrated Remote Patient Monitoring, Chronic Care Management, and Telemedicine Program for patients with Hypertension, Diabetes, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Asthma and Weight problems.
