About Speaker
Tim Swanson is Director of Research at Post Oak Labs. He has been a key thought-leader in the blockchain community and author of three books. Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tim has worked in East Asia for more than six years and is a fellow at Singapore University of Social Sciences and previously was a fellow at the Sim Kee Boon Institute at Singapore Management University. He was the first advisor at Hyperledger (prior to its acquisition by Digital Asset) and is currently the advisor of R3 and Clearmatics.
Danny has founded several companies innovating on blockchain and artificial intelligence. His most recent company is BlockSeer, a blockchain analytics company that specializes in anti-money laundering (AML) for digital currencies. Blockseer’s analysis tools are used by law enforcement and financial institutions. Before Blockseer, Danny founded Maicoin, a Bitcoin services platform that included wallet, exchange, and merchant services. Danny has worked on machine learning and data problems for almost two decades. Danny also co-founded ScoreData and Seravia, both data science companies. Danny graduated from Harvard with a degree in Chemistry and Physics, and got his Masters and PhD in Computer Science from Stanford.
