VSee Messenger Release 4.6 – New Phone Dial-in & Call Timer

Sometimes your network simply doesn’t want to cooperate. So we’ve added phone dial-in feature so everyone in your group can participate in a quality video call no matter how finicky their computer network. Check out our notes below on how to use this new dial-in feature.

You will need to upgrade to VSee Pro to get this new feature. Good news is we are running a limited time promotion at $7.49/month. Just submit your request to upgrade at VSee – Your Secure Zoom Alternative

1. Join a call via phone

If any participant in a VSee call is having audio issue, the new VSee Messenger (Pro version) now allows participants to join the call with their phone. The phone dial-in option becomes available in the settings only after you’ve started a video call or meeting.

2. Stop computer audio for users calling via phone*

Joining a video call via phone may cause echo. To prevent this, we have added an option to disconnect your computer audio when using the phone dial-in feature of VSee Messenger.

*Currently available for Android and Mac only. Coming soon for Windows and iOS.

Mac:
First, dial in from your phone. Then click on Disconnect Computer Audio button to prevent echo issues. If you need to reconnect your computer’s audio, simply click on the muted speaker icon and click on Join Audio button.

Android:
No need to do anything to disconnect device audio. Once you tap on the call button to phone in or when the phone call is connected, all audio from VSee Messenger will be automatically disconnected.

To reconnect your VSee Messenger’s audio, simply click on the muted speaker icon and click on Join Audio button.

2. Call timer is now displayed during a video call

Thank you to our users who requested the call timer feature! The timer is visible in the top left corner of the video call window to all parties in a call. We hope this will help providers and patients have better, more efficient video visits.
