This Friday, July 21 at 8:00 PM PDT, VSee has released a new version of the VSee client for every platform except Mac client. Mac client will be released on Friday, July 28th at 8:00 PM PDT.
Version 3.9
Changes include:
All clients:
- Fixed contact is not able to leave a group chat if username has special character.
- Fixed bug causing automatically leaving an empty group chat room to not work correctly.
- Improvements on offline/idling status for mobile devices.
Windows:
- Combined video windows into one window.
- Can search and call from VSee Call window.
- Ability to pop out/in video window.
- Dialing window is included in video window.
- Fixed displaying name correctly for special characters.
- Added video call button for group chat.
- Fixed displaying problem for close button when there are multiple chat tabs.
- Fixed contact not showing up if it has not been added to a group.
- Fixed camera selection.
- Fixed duplicate images on group chat.
- Fixed share button not disappeared after call has ended.
- Fixed Stethoscope not showing although it’s on on remote.
- This version is not available for Windows XP and Windows Vista.
Mac:
- Fixed duplicate messages and notifications.
- Fixed Stethoscope not showing although it’s on on remote.
- Fixed crashes on login/logout/relaunch/quit.
- Various improvements for chat window: added recent chat view, displaying time, added status, added chat counter, and fixed layout.
- This version is not available for OS X 10.7 and OSX 10.8.
iPad and iPhone:
- Fixed loading chat history which can cause a crash.
- Fixed an issue on stethoscope audio input where it’s turned on by itself.
- Fixed duplicate messages.
- Fixed auto loading image not working.
- Improvements on tracking unread messages and badge count.
- Fixed wrong chat notification when login on multiple devices.
- Fixed chat messages being marked as read on closing chat.
- This version is now available for iOS 8.
Android:
- Improved performance and fixed crash for large address book.
- Fixed crash on x86 device running on old Android version.
- Fixed crash on loading chat history.
- Added support for stethoscope audio input.
- Added support for Spanish language.
