Dr. Peter Lee is the Global Medical Director for the General Electric Company. In this capacity, Peter leads clinical operations, directs occupational health and medicine, develops globally responsive medical policies and drives advancements in travel medicine, crisis management, and disease prevention. He also supports GE HealthAhead (culture of health initiative) to ensure population health and wellness programs are evidence based and globally engaging. He serves as GE’s public health liaison and teaches in the capacity as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine.

Dan Trigub is a Regional Vice President leading Healthcare, Education, Transit & Government partnerships on the West Coast. Before Lyft, Dan spent time working in Business Development at eBay and previously to that founded several companies including OpenPlacement which is a care coordination platform allowing hospital professionals to connect with post-acute care providers such as senior communities for their patients at the moment of discharge. Before being an entrepreneur, Dan worked in consulting and was also an Associate at GCA Savvian Advisors, an M&A and Capital Advisory Investment Bank in San Francisco where he represented emerging technology, digital health, and healthcare facility companies.

Milton is a co-founder and CEO of VSee – the only approved video telehealth platform used by NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station. He did his PhD at Stanford University where he researched human factors and design of video collaboration. Milton is also the co-author of the XMPP video standard, and XMPP is used by Google and Facebook Chat. He has deployed VSee for Hillary Clinton, Angelina Jolie, Linkin Park, and President Obama’s inauguration. Milton has been to Iraq, Nigeria, Gabon and Philippines working in refugee camps and homeless shelters to provide telemedicine.

Mike Phillips, MD supports outreach, telehealth, and clinical shared service design and deployment, and is closely aligned with the Intermountain Business Development team as the key clinical/physician lead. Prior to joining Intermountain, Dr. Phillips practiced as a clinical neuro-radiologist at Cleveland Clinic since 2002. He held a number of leadership positions within the Imaging Institute and Imaging Science at Cleveland Clinic, including the Director of Business Development in the Imaging Institute, serving on Cleveland Clinic’s Board of Governors, Cleveland Clinic’s Board of Directors and as the Co-Chair of the Care Affordability Task Force, identifying and developing ways to improve efficiency and lower the cost of care.

Dr. Popiel serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Cambia Health Solutions. He is a nationally recognized health care delivery expert and thought leader coming to Cambia from Horizon Healthcare Innovations, a Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey company, where he was President and Chief Operating Officer. He served as Horizon’s Vice President and Chief Medical Officer and as Vice President/Senior Medical Director for The Permanente Company. Dr. Popiel chairs the National Council of Physician and Pharmacy Executives, a Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association council comprising chief medical and chief pharmacy officers. He also leads the Chief Medical Officer Leadership Group at America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and serves on the AHIP board of directors.

Dr. Brian Davey is a South African physician with extensive experience managing healthcare in International Organizations, holding a MD degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, and post-graduate qualifications in research physiology and occupational health. He has held various positions in the United Nations system, including Head of Health and Safety at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, Netherlands (1995-2007), Medical Director of the United Nations, New York (2007-2012), and Director of the Health Services Department at the World Bank Group, Washington DC (2012 – present).

After spending nearly a decade in Washington, DC, Kelsey Mellard has spent the last three years in San Francisco, where most recently she Co-founded Sitka (www.trustsitka.com) and serves as the CEO. Prior to founding, Sitka was an early employee at Honor Homecare. Kelsey joined Honor in 2013 her time as VP of Partnership Marketing and Policy at naviHealth, VP of Policy for Health Services at UnitedHealth Group, and Special Assistant to the Director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). Prior to her time in the Federal Government, Kelsey worked directly within the healthcare delivery system with the Advisory Board Company, and as an Administrative Fellow at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinic.
Kelsey began her career at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. She attended Winona State University for her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Community Health, and received her Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas.

Dr. Edward Kersh is the former Chief of Cardiology at St. Luke’s Hospital, San Francisco, and is a Clinical Professor Emeritus of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. In 1980, he joined the staff of California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC), where he has served as Chief of Echocardiography and Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation. In 2000, he was honored with the Kaiser Teaching Award as volunteer teacher of the year at UCSF. Dr. Kersh now serves as a consultant and teacher at the SF Free Clinic. He has been recognized by his peers by election to Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Steven C. Cramer is a Professor of Neurology, Anatomy & Neurobiology, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of California, Irvine. He is also the Associate Director of the Institute for Clinical & Translational Science at UC Irvine, and co-PI of the NIH StrokeNet clinical trials network. Dr. Cramer graduated with Highest Honors from University of California, Berkeley; received his medical degree from University of Southern California; did a residency in internal medicine at UCLA; and did a residency in neurology plus and a fellowship in cerebrovascular disease at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also earned a Masters Degree in Clinical Investigation from Harvard Medical School.

Hong Truong is a senior program investment officer for the CHCF Health Innovation Fund, which invests in technology and service companies with the potential to significantly lower the cost of care or improve access to care for low-income Californians.Prior to joining CHCF, Hong sourced, analyzed, and evaluated strategic investment opportunities in digital health, health technology, and tech-enabled services for Summation Health Ventures, the venture capital arm of Cedars-Sinai and MemorialCare Health Systems, and for Kaiser Permanente Ventures. She had previously carried out industry analysis and advised clients on health economics and outcomes research at Analysis Group.

Michael Zhuang is founder and principal of MZ Capital Management. He is Amazon Bestselling Author in Physician Category. He is also a master storyteller, stand-up comedian and musicalimproviser. Michael contributed extensively to various publications: Morningstar, Physicians Practice and Investopedia. He also blogs at The Investment Scientist. He is passionate about enabling doctors to live simple and flourishing lives doing what they do best and enjoy most, practicing medicine.

Kelly Sanders serves as the President of Movement for Life, Inc which encompasses a family of 24 outpatient physical therapy practices as well as teleMOVEMENT which is a musculoskeletal health company with a goal to provide access to PT services online or via telehealth. In 1999, she received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Following graduation, Kelly completed a one-year residency program in orthopedic physical therapy and is board certified in orthopedic physical therapy. She is also a certified athletic trainer. In her personal time, Kelly enjoys snow skiing, being outdoors, reading and spending time with her husband and two children.

Dennis J. Dr. H.R. Christopher O’Brien, is the founder of TherapyWorks.Tv – a pioneering private telepsychiatry and pharmacy consulting group. He is a board specialist in Psychiatric Pharmacy, and an Advanced Practice Pharmacist. He is also an original co-founder of the Bio-Behavioral Consultation Clinics and has consulted for the Regional Center system for 19 years and at the Sonoma Developmental Center with a focus on developmental disabilities and child adolescent psychiatry for 7 years. Previously, he was the Director of Pharmaceutical Research at NuGene Biopharma, managing clinical trials and the development of new topical products. Dr. O’Brien received his Pharm.D at the University of the Pacific.

David Thompson, MD, serves as CEO and chief medical officer for Health Navigator, Inc. He is the inventor of the Health Navigator Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engine and principal architect of the platform and clinical vocabulary. A part-time faculty attending in the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, Dr. Thompson has previously served as medical director and chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at MacNeal Hospital Emergency Department. He received both an engineering degree and his medical degree from the University of Illinois.
