VSee update releaseWe’re very pleased to announce VSee for Mac pen annotations and group chat with this newest release. These additions make VSee the perfect group study tool for students.  Please take a few moments to make sure your VSee has been updated to

Windows version: 13.0.0.301
Mac version: 18.0 (14921)

The following fixes and additions have been made:

Mac only

  • Pen annotation on shared screens
  • Group chat

Windows only

  • Ability to receive annotations from Mac client
  • Support for Latin-1 extended character set in group chat
  • Fixed case where even if VSee is never restarted, users will still receive VSee software updates

To see if you are on this latest version of VSee:

Windows version 13.0.0.301   - Click the Help icon in the address book –>select “About VSee…” and see if it is the newest version. VSee will download the newest client for you (which will show as a checkmark in task tray icon). Simply restart the program to use the updated VSee.

Mac version 18.0 (14921) - Click “VSee” top menu and choose “check for updates.”

VSee New Release 219 – Better Relay Performance

VSee update releaseMore window layout controls, higher quality relay calls, and better group chat are some of the improvements you can experience in our latest VSee release. Please take a few moments to make sure your VSee has been updated to

The following fixes and additions have been made:

Windows and Mac versions

  • Automatic merging of group calls
  • Improved relay performance and stability
  • Bug fix for calls suffering high delays after network congestion or disconnection (especially in cases of slow Internet)

Windows only

  • Auto-tiling and auto-resize for HD window display
  • New menu items for saving your window layout (ideal if you want precise control over your windows arrangement)
  • Improved group chat performance (new chat backend in preparation for future cross-platform group chat release)

VSee Release 1116 – Import Your Gmail and Outlook Contacts

VSee updateNo need to look up email addresses anymore!  VSee for Windows now allows you to import contacts from Gmail and Outlook.    You can also invite recommended contacts with one click.  Please take a few moments to make sure your VSee has been updated to

VSee New Release 1104 – Contact Notifications & Invite Button

VSee updateGet notified when a contact comes online! Also, the invite button is back!  We’re working hard to make it easier to connect with your contacts in VSee.  Please take a few moments to make sure your VSee has been updated to

We have made the following improvements:
  1. Invite button added back to address book
  2. Notification for when invitee is online
  3. Fix for meeting issues caused by participants that have lost network connection
  4. Fix for IM delivery issue

Windows Only

  1. Fix for tooltips for search results in address book
  2. Fix for flashing cursor when sharing desktop on Windows XP
  3. Show newly added offline contact for 30 seconds (if the hide offline contact option is active)
  4. Address book UI usability improvements (buttons moved to the bottom)

Mac Only

  1. History window brought to front when it’s opened from the address book
  2. Fix for appshare cursor position
  3. Statistics window tweaks to closely match Windows client
