Managing Director - J.D. Power
Greg Truex is a Managing Director in the Global Business Intelligence division at J.D. Power. He is responsible for project management, product development and client services for the divisions Health Intelligence and Diversified practice areas.
Greg serves as the executive sponsor and primary author of the annual U.S. Retail Pharmacy Satisfaction Study, U.S. Senior Living Satisfaction Study, and inaugural U.S. Telehealth Satisfaction Study to be published in November 2019. Greg is also responsible for managing several customer experience tracking programs and primarily consults with Kaiser Permanente and the National Hockey League.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Truex worked on several research projects and consulting engagements as a Research Specialist, Research Supervisor, Research Manager, Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Director during his 15-year career at J.D. Power. As a Research Manager, he and his research team received the American Honda Premier Partner Award in 2006 and 2007 and were the first recipients of the award given to a team at J.D. Power.
Earlier, Mr. Truex was an intern in the Office of the Senior Advisor to the President, at The White House. There, he assisted in coordinating schedules for the President and cabinet members, as well as prepared political briefings for the President’s staff. In addition, Mr. Truex was an intern for Congressman Elton Gallegly, State Senator Bruce McPherson, and also served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Truex received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a master’s degree in public policy from American University in Washington, D.C.
