VSee is a video collaboration software that supports application sharing, desktop sharing, movie sharing, file sharing, USB device sharing, and remote camera control. VSee is designed for scalability and manageability.

VSee is extremely low bandwidth, requiring only a fraction of the bandwidth of Skype, WebEx, Polycom, Tandberg, Adobe, Cisco, etc; and works well over a 3G/EVDO cellular air card.

VSee allows large scale enterprise deployments with no network infrastructure upgrades. VSee uses a novel network adaption algorithm to be network agnostic - able to work over any network. VSee is field hardened to work well over wireless tactical networks in the Mideast and Africa.

VSee provides a complete suite of management tools to control every aspect of deployment - from bandwidth utilization to per-user capability control to activity logging. All traffic is encrypted with FIPS 140-2 256 bit AES.

Standards based interoperability

The VSee client software runs on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7. Communication among users is first authenticated and controlled via a directory server, and then travels peer-to-peer over a single UDP port or via HTTP or SSL tunneling if a direct connection is not possible. For enterprises who want to host their own service, the complete VSee server line is available for license. For application developers, a free software development kit (SDK) is also available.

Unlike remote meeting tools such as WebEx, Adobe, GotoMeeting, etc; that are designed for formal meetings; VSee is designed for ad-hoc informal remote work – the constant micro collaborations that get things done.

VSee uses a patent-pending user interface design based on a deep understanding of how people communicate and collaborate over computers. The interface has been extensively tested and refined from large scale deployments with Fortune 500 and military users. The result is an intuitive user experience that requires at most five minutes of training to become an expert.
