VSee CEO Dr. Milton Chen will be speaking at the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) two-day workshop on “US-Philippines Medical Device Management and Innovation”, which runs October 17-18, 2023. This workshop is part of the HealthTech Indo-Pacific Workshop Series providing for the US and Southeast Asian countries to collaborate on best practices, laws, regulations, standards and policy development for the region’s healthcare industry.
Dr. Chen will be speaking on Mon., October 16 from 8-9:30pm Pacific time (Tues., Oct. 17, 11:00 am -12:30pm Philippines time). He will share insights into VSee’s groundbreaking work in the Philippines, where VSee’s low code, no code telehealth platform is being used to pilot sustainable local programs that can increase access to regular care for vulnerable populations. The platform has been used to successfully provide telehealth primary care from temporary clinics to hundreds of Filippinos in underserved areas, as well as to train medical residents.
The discussion will center on practical strategies for leveraging digital health tools to increase healthcare availability in low-resource settings.
There will be a total of 6 workshop sessions that will cover topics including medical device regulations, management best practices, procurement strategies, and more. The workshop presents an opportunity for healthcare leaders in the US and Philippines to connect, understand local priorities, and collaborate on improving care through health technology innovations.
